Being a counselor at a camp?

So I'm gonna be a counselor at this day camp and I need to interact with the kids, and speak to them during lunch and help them out during sports and stuff, but what exactly am I supposed to talk to the kids about? I mean how do I interact with the children during lunch and all that? What am I supposed to say? This is my first time doing this, and I'm not so good at communicating with kids (2nd to 5th grade), so I just need advice on how to communicate and all that. Much appreciated for an answer. Thanks!

Let them take the lead. talk about what you did that morning, or ask their ideas about stuff. You could look up an interesting "question of the day" like: have you ever seen a ghost, or what would you buy with a lot of money, or if you could have a pet, what would it be? Don't forget to follow up interesting answers. "I'd buy a big house". "Cool. What would you have in it?"
