in my keeper league should i keep rob gronkowski or roddy white?

In my league WR/TE count as the same position. We get to start 3 WR/TE. Its basic scoring 6 points per TD and 1 point per 10 yards receiving. (no points for rejections)

Keep White, Gronkowski is coming off another injury and isn't sure to start the season. There's less risk. You should be able to get Gronkowski back in the draft if you really want him.

This is another case where it helps to see the rest of your roster and understand your leagues rules. Do you lose a draft spot based on the selections draft spot the previous year? How many teams are in your league? What does the rest of the roster look like? Is there a flex? How many people can you keep? Etc? It will only help people to offer the best advice.

That being said a healthy Gronk is a WR, but he really isn't all that healthy. Arm surgery, back surgery, etc. I would probably keep Roddy White here since there is no defined TE position in your league. The reason Gronk is so valuable is his positional match up. The best TE do not rank in the top 10 of WR though. Jimmy and Gronk have huge advantages over any other TE, but not so in the case of WR. I play in a similar league and I took Jimmy Graham last year late, but he was by no means my number 1 WR/TE option. Marshall and Bryant were both superior to him in most games. Gronk had under a 1000 yard season last year, by contrast Roddy had over 1350. If Gronk is healthy however it should be noted he will play a huge role in that offense with the depleted receiving core and departure of Arron Hernandez in NE. He is Brady's favorite option by far and could have one of the greatest seasons ever as a TE placing him in the top 10 of WR rankings easily.

Roddy White. Everything I've read says Gronk may be put on the PUP list and wont be eligible until week 7.
