giving people rides home from bars is this against the law?
I been more less playing taxi I have the same kind of van as the taxi service and people always think am a taxi and jump in so to make a few exter dollars I drive them home.when they ask how much they own me I tell them what ever they want to give.is this against law?

I doubt it. You're doing this really casually, I take it.
If you have a "rate card" with fixed rates, you're crossing into franchise territory, which IS regulated.
