Does Intro to Philosophy and Psychology go together?

I'm starting my first semester of college, taking my General Ed requirements, and I may plan to apply to the nursing program. I just wanna take philosophy because it sounds interesting. Psychology is required though. I'm taking philosophy and psychology this semester. What do you think? Should I drop philosophy?
