Can I Get A Degree in Animal Science with a Misdemenour?
I have a misdemeanor in Domestic Violence Reckless Conduct its about 4 years old now..I am looking to go to college for Animal Science, will this affect me in going to college or finding a job in this degree?
I have already looked online and most places say No, seeing as it has to do with dealing more in animals than humans. I just want to make sure before I go and spend money on college classes to find out I am not getting a job. Thanks :)
well I live in Maine, I was told its hard to or I can't at all expunge it from my record?

You can get a degree in anything with any type of conviction. You could be a registered animal sex offender and get a degree in animal science. Can you get a job after you earn your degree? That is what you should be asking. Misdemeanors are not that serious and you can usually expunge them so go for whatever profession you desire.
