Can I Get A Degree in Animal Science with a Misdemenour?
I have a misdemeanor in Domestic Violence Reckless Conduct its about 4 years old now..I am looking to go to college for Animal Science, will this affect me in going to college or finding a job in this degree? I live in Maine were the misdemeanor was acquired. I am not to sure if I can be a teacher with this on my record? Anyone know or have any information for me? thanks so much :) Checked online already and saw a lot of it won't do anything for finding a job and such, but also saw people say YES it will...so I don't know

The only way to find out is to apply and see what they say. I remember that my college applications had a section to explain anything on your record, which could be helpful. If you get accepted to the college then yes, you can obtain the degree.
If the answer was an absolute no then you wouldn't even be able to apply. It's worth a shot!
