Which version do you like?

I think the cropped version has more visual impact.

The cropped version is better - in the uncropped version the lighter area at the top competes for attention and you have 4 grasses in view (for some reason, aesthetically speaking, objects are better in odd numbers - 1,3's, 5's rather than even). Even in the cropped version I feel the foreground and b/g are both too 'busy'.

I would in fact crop even tighter & see how it looks with a single grass stem?

I prefer #1, Uncropped

also what screwdriver said fill the frame with the subject it will look a lot better.

Nice lighting Edwin, but a fussy and 'tangled' background, I would have filled the frame with the back-lit grass head and that would have sorted the over exposure too.
