Poll: what book turned to movie has been slaughtered the worst?

They have done a pathetic job on the Percy Jackson series. They need to just stop and start over. It makes me sick to watch it.

    Not a movie but TV.. HBO murdered the Sookie Stackhouse books when they made the True Blood series.

    I agree with you about Percy Jackson, too.

    the first to come to mind is War of the Worlds

    it's never been like to book.

    there was one low budget British version that was the closest.

    A key element to the story was 19th Century people being faced with technology far beyond theirs

    I would have to say the autobiography they made based on Steve Job's life in the newest movie Jobs where Ashton Kutcher portrays him I haven't seen it but the reviews about it seem awful.
