In the short term. A rise in oil prices has to do more with uncertainty than it does with the actual situation in Syria. If the US does something like launch cruse missiles against Syria, but there is no impact on oil production or shipments, then the prices will settle back down. This kind of thing is nothing new. It's not like we never had tensions in the ME before Obama which impacted oil prices.

Of course he will. If he were a republican, dems would blame him. There are 2 rules for politics:

    1. Take credit for your adversaries successes

    2. Blame your adversary for all failures (whether it's their fault or not)

    Partisan politics is bullsht

No. Bush will still be blamed. Bush will be blamed until a Republican takes office (even if that is in the year 2024). The moment a Republican is elected, that Republican gets the blame. That's how Democrat Blame Game works.

When Bush was in charge he got blamed.

Obama is now in charge so of course he will be blamed.

I already blame Obama because of his opposition to pipelines and constant harassment of the energy sector

No. If you noticed they have already began to go up and nothing has been done yet. Every time there is trouble in the Middle East, it goes up.

Some will blame him, he will blame Assad

And, eventually, Israel will be the biggest loser

It would make little or no sense if it did, they did the same thing in Libya, and it was found that the oil companies themselves were manipulating the prices

NOPE Liberals will blame it on Eisenhower for building interstates.
