Why do men want to argue with feminists?
There are women in the world, who for whatever reason, don't like men. But why spend time and energy arguing with them? They have their reasons, and you're not going to change their minds with some rational argument. So why bother? There are lots of women in this world who like men. Why not spend your time communicating with them, instead of poking feminists with sticks?
I really don't understand.

Soon enough you'll realize the Internet is full of angry 14 year olds trying to prove their superiority to the world and reaffirm their masculinity, I honestly am angered by the mentality of some feminists (all the ones that go beyond equality), but I would never start an argument with a radical one because, like you said, it would obviously get me nowhere.
Once again, we all have to keep in mind some feminists have genuine concerns. Like pay equity.

some people just plain like to argue. they will argue with anyone and everyone who is willing for any reason at all.
sometimes, however, the feminists have power and influence over policy. a lot of men will argue with them if this is the case, with hopes that they will either change their minds or anybody else who hears who also has power or influence.
make it a good day

Men and women argue with feminists because of the lies they tell about men. Many feminist-inspired laws and policies are very anti-male in general because of those lies.
I would honestly argue that those who support feminism today are either ignorant of what is said and done in the name of feminism, or they support what is. Which is worse?
As you can see, these people who support feminism can only resort to ad hominem attacks and logical fallacies. But, there are laws instituted with the help of these people. Hell, obama's entire campaign was aimed at these people.
We argue because we want fairness; equality. I know that true equality is a concept alien to feminists and their supporters, but that's how it is.

It is incorrect to say that feminist don’t like men. Anyone who thinks that women are NOT inherently inferior to men, or that they deserve equal pay for equal work is a feminist. MANY MEN ARE FEMINISTS, and vocal about it, myself included.
Feminism does not imply that women are better than men as some of the above answers suggest. There are many types of feminism: Marxist Feminism, Post-Marxist Feminism, Black Feminist criticism, Post Feminism, just to name a few. Radical Separatist “man-hating” feminism was only ever a fringe group, not by any means the essence of feminism.
If you really want to understand, start with understanding what Feminism is. Anyone who argues against it (man or woman) is ether ignorant about or a jackass (sometime both)

Women tend to whinge about what they don't have as a gender. Go to any war memorial and look at the names. Not many women on there.

Can we please get this straight. Feminists do not hate men by default. Very few feminists hate all men. The ones who do are damaged little rabbits with mental issues and do not speak for the rest of us.

why? because those are the women that want to make **** like "male castration day" a reality

The title "femenism" implies to me that they believe in the supremecy of the female race, which just seems to me to be equally as offensive as male chauvinism. Thats why femenists are easy to argue with in my opinion

'Cause a LOT of these men have never spent a day out in the real world and make all their opinions about us based on what they see on trashy American Reality TV shows and extremists on the internet and it is kinda sad but there is no point in trying to get through to them 'cause they think they know everything.

That's why I became a male feminist, so I would have a capable opponent when I wanted to argue.
