I think bases upon is body language and tone of voice that his advisors in no uncertain terms told him 80% of the comments made on CNN and YAHOO and the other news sites where people can make comments were opposed to an attack. He was told there is almost no support for an attack which could get the USA into another war. And that just sat in his craw because if he does not DO SOMETHING he will look like a fool over his red line remark.
