Noob cooking question?

I always use boneless chicken when cooking with chicken. But I grabbed the wrong bag this time and got chicken thighs. Twice now I've lost patience trying to cook these (stove top) cut them up and finished cooking them that way.

Is there a way to quickly cook boned chicken or should I just cut it up after dethaw.

I would just cook them with the bones.

What many people don't know there is a lot of flavor that you will get out of the bones that you dont get when you cook boneless.

If you are making stock they make it from something neat the bones. Most of the flavor comes from bones and marrow.

There is a saying and it's true. The closer to the bone the sweeter the meat.

Cutting the up for some can be difficult.

I usually cook them in an oven or on my grill or smoker. Rotisserie is another good way that I have cooked thighs. You can slow cook them in a Crock Pot.

The fastest way to cook them on top of the stove that I'm aware of is to fry them. That take little time.

You can cook them with the bone in. Just use a little lower temp for a longer time. I always use chicken thighs for soup. Simmering them gets them done while still moist.

I usually grill them and put BBQ sauce on them when they are almost done cooking. You'll know when they're cooked by the color of the juice when you cut into them. Pink means they need more time, clear means they're done! Let them rest a few minutes before serving and enjoy. Hope this helps.

I usually cook them in a crockpot w/bbq sauce on low for 6hrs.

Or I'll put them on a tray sprinkle w/garlic, paprika and a pat of butter on each pc., then cook for 45 min. at 400 degrees...
