A sports car accelerates up a hill?

This is on my homework for my physics class and it has me stumped.

A sports car accelerates up a hill that is at 18 degrees above the horizontal. The static coefficient of friction between the cars tires and the ground is .88. The static friction force is what causes the car to accelerate up the hill. (a) What is the magnitude of the maximum acceleration that the car can have? (b) What is the magnitude of the maximum acceleration if the car is being driven down hill?
