What games would you consider to contain intelligent themes?
I'm attempting to write an article on how games have incorporated intellectual and philosophical concepts, but I'm struggling to recall games beyond the likes of the Bioshock series.
- GTA 4 (The modern state of America such as the American Dream, crime and society)
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Trans-humanism and the human condition in a world where people can upgrade their bodies)
- The Walking Dead (What society loses in the face of an apocalypse)
And so on. Which games make you think about issues other than the gameplay?
Please take your time to think - _DON'T just_ list games - and include a brief sentence saying why.
Thanks for your help!

I like Bioshock: Infinite. It explores the divide between race / immigration and that a utopian society cannot stand without the lower people holding it up.
The Last of Us: Explores how society and people quickly crumble in the face of annihilation and what people are willing to do to survive & protect the ones they care about.
Assassins Creed Series, explores weather peace can be achieved through power & control or through freedom and liberty. Most people don't see this concept.
LA Noire: Shows the glamour and life of the American dream but also the grit and brutality behind it.

Brothers in Arms: Games that involve war would make a great article, there so much information on the past world wars that you could write an entire article just about a war game such as brothers in arms.
