Should I get the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim?

So, I got ten bucks to spare, since its on sale for 10, and I'm curious if it's worth it or not, because I have played Skyrim for like 350 hours and I did everything there was, but now everything I do seems boring and not as fun, so would this DLC bring me back excitement for the game? A whole new grasp on it? Or will the DLC be just the same kinds of discoveries and not really different side quests? I just wanna know if it's worth it and why or why not. Thanks in advance. Oh and how bout hearthfire dlc? It's only $2.50, Is it also worth the money? Eventhough I know it's cheap.

$2.50 for Hearthfire? Not bad, go for it. It doesn't really add anything exciting to the game. You get to build for your own house and adopt (yeah, that's it) but for that price, that's not bad at all.

As for Dragonborn, it is simply AWESOME. I'm a huge Skyrim fan that has put so many hours into the game that I was finally starting to get bored of it. Dragonborn has really brought the game to life again. It is set off the map of Skyrim on the island of Solstheim. The map is actually quite large and different from Skyrim. The storyline is interesting as are the side quests and there are actually a LOT of quests. There are several new shouts and powers and awesome new weapons and armor you can find, buy and make. You can ride dragons and go into the strange world of the Daedric prince, Hermaeus Mora. I've really really enjoyed playing and I know you will too. Worth every penny.

If you don't have Dawnguard either, that is worth trying too. Although not as awesome as Dragonborn, it is still really good.

I asked that too. Most people responded that it's very good and defenitely worth it. They were right, it's far better than the two other DLCs. You can ride dragons and the plot and story is about being a dragonborn unlike the hearthfire which looks more fitting for a peasant than a dragonborn (I mean building houses and buying cows and chickens!) or the dawnguard that has nothing to do with the fact that you're a dragonborn, looks more like a different game than Skyrim really, besides the quests were really ridiculous all about getting the elder scrolls (which I don't know why you have to get them, you want to stop Harkon right? so why gather everything he needs you should just go stop him instead and you don't need the bow to do that)

Anyway the dragonborn DLC is really great. It's a shame it is a DLC and a lot of people don't think of playing it, it should've been part of the original game. And if you want to play hearthfire anyway just download it. I did. It's only 138MB so it shouldn't take a lot of time to download and there are a lot of sites to download it for free.

Dragonborn was pretty good. You get new places to explore, new creatures and new side quests. And you also learn a shout at the end that lets you tame dragons. I loved Hearthfire, it allows you to adopt two children, build houses, and own pets. But if you play on a PC, there are many mods that offer the same things that Hearthfire has, and for free.

    Hope I helped!

  • just give it a try.. why not.. i have all the dlc, it's not too bad
