Is the husband or the wife right?
On Saturday, we participated in a church function at her church and emptied half a bag of plain tortilla chips in one bowl and half a bag of tricolor tortilla chips in another bowl. On Sunday morning we had a church function at my church, and I suggested we use the half bags that we did not finish on Saturday. My wife insisted that this was improper and that the chip bags should be unopened. What would be your decision on this?

You are a very lucky man. If this is the kind of problems that you argue about then its great. Let her have her way. Who cares? As long as the chips are good and they haven't been laying on the ground, then her way is ok. Good luck

In the reasonable terms of reality and common sense, you should just use the other halves of the bags. In the practical sense of a working marriage (aka all that is "good and holy"), she will murder you; use new bags.
