Why do some of you women try so hard to catch a guys attention with your looks?

lol guys think we're sooooo desperate to impress them when we usually are just doing it to outdo other girls

edit: although I somewhat agree with the answer below, sometimes girls just feel good when they look nice. it does not mean they're automatically insecure because they spend money/time on their looks...

"Me" is right. Guys normally prefer girls who got straight out of bed and on their way to brush their teeth.

All that make-up and grooming is done in an effort to elevate one's perceived social status...especially amongst their female peers. Don't get intimidated by these appearances. The more decorated a girl is (expensive clothes, hair-dos and makeup), the more insecure she is, about herself.

You must be the bitter ugly girl that no guy wants. Tell me, has that guy that eventually went looking for what he "needs" ever stopped by your door? No? Oh okay lol.
