What is hand shake baby during labour/delivery, any signinificance?

    During delivery a hand or palm comes out first, so to find weather it is right hand or left, the obstetrician shakes hand , If it is right hand than the Obs, will fit in with right and same with left hand. This is called Hand Shake Baby. To be simple right to right , left to left hand shake.
