Can i clean my laptop with a dashboard polish?

This sounds like a bad idea to me. You have a expensive piece of electronic equipment that you want to clean. Why don't you just get something made for cleaning computers so you don't take a chance on ruining the case. Or worse yet getting something inside your computer that may hurt it.

I word of advice always use the right tool no matter what it is for the job you are doing. It saves tome and aggravation.

Car Dashboards are made of plastic as are Laptops mostly, but that stuff includes a shine to make the dashboard look better some kind of lacquer. I wouldn't, I use just de minerilized water which is the same cleaner you use for cleaning the screens of Laptops .

I don't recommend it. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning your laptop.

i wouldn't even think about doing it mainly of the the finish on the laptop start becoming dull
