Because it is too much work to fix anything plus CC doesn't want to look at your appeal anyway.

That is an ongoing issue that is very annoying.

When i had to appeal today same thing happened so used the alternate way to appeal

    https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?locale=en_...

    - choose "Answers" for the product

    - choose "Appeals" for the category

    - then choose "appeal deletion of a question" even if an answer.

    - Fill in text in the "Briefly tell us how we can help" e.g "I want to appeal"

Then you get an "Email a Support Agent " box where you can submit details of the appeal you wish to make.

You will get sent an incident number in your email.

Lately the appeal link in the notification has not been working just another Yahoo glitch.all you and other members can do is use this alternative appeal link below, keep doing your best to avoid violations and appeal if you feel you have been wronged. Go below follow the prompts for product, category etc.

This is a known glitch. It can sometimes be cleared by cleaning your cache, temp, and cookie files and updating your Java and Flash. Alternatively, use the procedure on the Suggestion Board for the alternative appeal form.

I think they're goal has always been to ignore appeals. Now they've merely found a quicker way to do that--set it up so we cannot appeal.

It could be a technical difficulty but it depends on how accurate your appeal is.
