250 gallon fish tank?

I have a 250 gallon take I've had it setup for two weeks, I've done waters tests and everything and I'm ready to add some fish. I'm wondering how many goldfish I can add. I'm getting some small fantails, at the store they are about 2-3 inches.

I already have an older female, she's about 5inches, very sweet and healthy. Would she attack any of the new fish I plan on getting?

I have lots of space and really good filters.

To reduce aggression always take out original fish and rearrange it. Though goldfish are very peaceful and rarely you get a mean one. If your getting fancy stay with fancy. Likewise with single. Single tails will out compete for food or eat their fins. And the fancy may get aggressive in return.

2 weeks is not cycled. It takes more like 6 weeks for a cycle. But whatever. Remember to use API Test Master, it's probably the most useful + accurate thing out there.

In a 250 you could add 8-9 fancy goldfish. Stay away from comets/common's if you already have fancy's because they'll just beat up and out compete them for food.
