I'm looking into purchasing a tactical katana sword. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also look at Hanwei, Darksword, and Coldsteel.

All these make excellent good starter katanas, that cut well, and won't fall apart on you. And are relatively cheap compared to the better ones and are dirt cheap compared to the real deals.

how much money do you want to spend? what do you need it for? there are so many kinds. some are for decoration, good looking outside but bad quality blade. some are real katanas, very nicely made and ultra sharp. start on ebay to see prices and details, the range is enormous.
