Childhood Obesity Logos, Pathos, Ethos...?
Hi!
So I have to do a persuasive speech about causes of childhood obesity but I am focusing mainly on how children eat. I have my speech written out but now I need to add some logos, ethos, and pathos. I am not too sure on how I would use them in my speech. Any ideas? I think that logos is statistics but I am not sure how to use pathos and ethos.
Thank you so much in advance!

How about letting people eat what they want to eat without trying to force a diet plan down their throats.

I like Sarah's answer. When you force people to look a certain way or weigh a certain weight it does nothing but make the situation worse because they are being pressured into doing something that is not enjoyable. Of course I would have a hard time as a child losing weight when a nation of humans just like me pressured me to look like them or were very mean to me because I was heavier than them. The issue with children being over weight and in most cases most of them are not over weight there are not many activities going on in their lives. You can eat what ever you want just make sure you burn it off. Children are not going to stick so some diet unless their parents would cook their meals for them. Children have to stay active in order to keep their metabolism up, and it doesn't help when schools label children with a mental issues and force the parents to dope them up on drugs. It seems like children are not allowed to be active because they will be labeled as ADHD or something.
