If someone challenges you to a fight to the death?

And you won that fight (meaning you killed the person who challenged you) would you be charged with anything? like murder?

I would think so, here in the U.S. Why would you consider such a thing? If a court can prove that you both agreed to this prior to the fight, you might be held for murder, because you planned to kill someone. It would be different if you were attacked.

  • Yes. Duelling is illegal, and such a challenge is not considered self defense.
