Why does the left perpetually try to limit political speech but the right rarely does?

Will you progressive or socialist bigots (you aren't "liberals" as most of you fraudulently claim) illicitly delete this again because it embarrasses you?

The left, supposedly the champions of free speech, are continually trying to restrict or mute oppositions' access to public comment.

Do they fear the opposition might break the mind control hold they have from indoctrinating young people in the schools they dominate?

Are they afraid the romantic idealistic delusions they indoctrinate into vulnerable students will be broken by more pragmatic true liberal ideals or conservative pragmatism?

Examples:

They have tried, and often succeeded, at limiting how much can be spent for financing broadcast time while not limiting the endless broadcasts from academic pulpits they dominate.

They frequently invade presentations by their opposition and shout down the speakers, sometimes forcing the cancellation or abandonment of speech.

They campaign for the restriction of "hate speech" other than their own hateful tirades.

Below are accurate economic philosophy definitions. Today in the US most progressives and some socialists fraudulently call themselves "liberal."

True liberalism advocates: individual freedom, weak government, and free markets. Progressives advocate: social concern, omniscient government, and controlled markets. Socialism advocates: social responsibility, omnipresent government, and collective markets. Conservatism advocates: moral responsibility, strong government, and protected markets ("neo-cons" with international businesses have adopted freer market policies).

Update:

Another example is their deleting my last attempt probably under fraudulent excuses.

Update 2:

"---" are you claiming my examples only count if it happened to me personally? That is not a rational response.

Fascists limit speech because they fear being exposed.

But the extreme right is as bad as the extreme left. Both right and left, when extreme, come full circle and are fascists..

Moderate lefties and righties can balance out a society and there is a need for both to do that. It sucks, but that's the reality of it.

I live on an island where, before the Europeans ruined it, there was no real government other than a community composed of loving family. One policeman in a population of 7,000, and only voluntary charity was exacted. However, when people neglected civic duty, there were excluded and teased to make them come around.

Might did make right to some extent, but still, laws weren't promoted out of fear of being punished in a prison but in being snubbed and excluded from society, and at worst, total banishment.

There's no perfect society, but in my opinion, the more government control, the higher the taxes and the more likely one's own money will be used to infringe on his freedoms.

The more governent, the less free we are. I'm not for chaos, but the current European styles of government really suck! And so do the dictatorships of the middle east and of the former Roman Empire now being adopted by America, where the working class is being turned into a slave class for the elected elite who kiss the butts of corporations. In the end the citizens who work hardest are sucked dry by those who work the least..

I'm going to take a serious stab at this one. It's an issue I too have pondered. The short answer is both sides lie. I suspect you are reading to much of your own beliefs.

Long Answer; They lie by half-truths, by omission, by selective presenting of data that make them look good. The other sides bad thing or better still does both in one sentence.

When questioned about the lie they can point to an instance that is true. Follow the prelude or prolog of the instance and you get the omission or the instance the other side is using.

Here is an example. The day of the shutdown I went to http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/ to try an find out what was really happening with the spending bills. You need a degree to use this site. I muddled through anyway. Last bill was HR76 (? from memory) it showed bill passing house then going to the senate. I get confused here but the bill passed the senate went back to the house with an addendum. My confusion is did the senate floor pass the bill with or without the addendum? Is it possible to pass a bill and a committee can add stuff then send back to the other house cause this is what it looks like happened. Anyway the house did not like the new stuff so it never reached the house floor for a revote.

Starting to see the picture here? Both sides can claim they passed a budget bill or claim the other side did not.

In essence whenever you hear of happening with bills, voting and committees being spoken you are hearing a half-truth. To find the other half-truth go to the other sides website.

I know this question is old but I will answer it anyway since I like the answers you give. The reason is called believe it or not CULTURAL MARXISM. Cultural Marxism is what created Political Correctness. What I mean by this is that the left since the 1920s has been wanting to use cultural subversion. In the 1930s many from the Frankfurt School came to America and settled in American universities after quite some time they wrote a few books such as The Authoritarian Personality by Theodor W. Adorno, Eros and Civilization by Herbert Marcuse, One Dimensional Man by Herbert Marcuse. All this books paved the way for the student movements of the 1960s. In order for them to prevail they have to silence any sense of opposition in order to have the majority in any given country to follow your ideology without question. I will leave it to that but you have to see it for yourself in the video I will give you and I want you to share it with everyone.
