What is it about Miacalcin that causes these side effects?
I had been taking Miacalcin for osteoporosis for two to three months when a previuosly mild backache became very painful and my fatigue seemed to increase. The pharmacist said that both these symptoms could be due to Miacalcin.

Your pharmacist is right. Moreover, to understand about it, one should know that our body is made up of several natural chemicals. As and when it reduces in our body due to various reasons, we starts suffering from different type of diseases. The natural method of strengthening those chemicals are food we take which recover one's health. Every medicines, including Miacalcin is not natural chemical. It is synthetically or artificially made. Hence when we take any synthetic chemicals for longer period, it gives side effects. Better if you leave it immediately and start doing some light exercises for your backache.
