When I press in certain areas of my stomach it hurts?

So I've had unresolved stomach issues for about the last two years. My stomach issues basically are very sharp pains in my lower abdomen, which I usually just think are pooping cramps (no other way to put that) and usually is resolved by that activity. But I also have pains when certain parts of my stomach are pressed. I have un officially diagnosed my self with Ibs But I'm not positive

I used to have what feels like 'wind in the stomach'- sharp pains.

It gets relieved when I changed my eating habit and also:

    1. taking an apple/orange first thing in the morning on empty stomach

    2. take a glass of warm water on empty stomach

    Both before brushing teeth.

Try some of the methods in the article below. If it does not relieve your condition, it is better you go for a medical checkup.

It could be your gallbladder. You might have stones or "sludge" that is getting lodged in a cystic duct causing pain or tenderness in the area. If this IS the case, please be careful. Most doctors are quick to recomend removal of the gallbladder. While you can live w/out your gallbladder, your health might not be improved and some people have "gallbladderless attacks" even after it is removed. Have you ever had a gallbladder attack? The pain varies in intensity and location a bit. It can be accompanied by nausea, severe pain in the back and between the shoulder blades, and difficulty breathing. Some people think they are having a heart attack and only after they go to the ER do they learn it was a gallbladder attack, instead. You might need to adjust your diet, if this is a gall problem, and could live pain free with your gallbladder intact. You might end up needing it removed. I hope the cause is determined when you see your doctor and your health improves. Good luck.
