No need to book a train in advance. The S-Bahn train S13 leaves from the airport every 20 minutes. You just buy a ticket zone 2b for €3.70 before you get on the train. At Messe/Deutz you have to change trains after 12 minutes of travel and continue on train S6 towards Düsseldorf - Essen which reaches Leverkusen after 16 minutes. A ticket for the match enables free use of public transport on the 27th of November from 4:45 pm (4 hours before the match starts) until 03:00 am the next morning. In Germany you can freely step on the trains without passing any counters. Should tickets be checked on the train you just present your bought ticket or the ticket for the match.
