How to repair a hole in carpet?
My daughter cut out a hole the size of a silver dollar in the bedroom carpet. The mat is intact, but all the threads were removed. I have some remnant carpet I can use for the repair. What would be the best way to repair it?

if what you call the mat is the backing of the carpet .you can pull out some threads of the spare carpet and using latex glue to glue the threads into the backing .
