Help ,can I replace a clutch without a lift on an 07 mazda 6?
I am an Acura tech but im considering doing this on the side at home ,does the subframe have to come out ?and the exhust ?does the engine need to be supported? its a manual and not sure yet whether its a 4 or 6 cyl ,im not sure I want to get involved in this at home unless there easy .just not looking to get beat myself up doing it at home for a few extra bucks, and I cant use my lift at work for a side job ..thank you in advance for any help or info ..

I have done all sorts of clutch jobs on the ground after deciding to never work at a car dealer again. Get on Alldata and read the procedure for taking the tranny out. It's hard to give advice when you don't even know what motor is in the vehicle. Sure would not want to drop the cradle on a GM vehicle again! Most Asian vehicles are not a problem.
