making rose scented glycerin for soaps?

I make soaps and bubble bath using natural ingredients in a glycerin base. I use essential oils for fragrance. This year I saved the petals from my roses in my yard, they're organic. How do I use glycerin to extract the frangrance from the petals, without adding a lot of water?

I made some soaps using glycerin and rosewater and the soap was very soft and didn't last well. I have used lavander from my yard with just glycerin and the soap came out well.

Any help appreciated!

I refer you to Martha STewart, who has a whole huge section about soap making. Perhaps she can tell you how to extract the essence.
