D'Antoni's questionable decisions?

The Lakers have built up a 27-point lead against the Nets mainly due to Jordan Farmar's hot hand in the 2nd quarter (he was like 4/5 from 3 in the quarter). So what does D'Antoni do? He took out Farmar. The Nets responded with a 15-0 run, no Laker scored in 5 straight minutes and the Nets are back in the game.

This is why some (or maybe a lot) of Lakers fan like me are frustrated with this coach.

We all understand your frustration. This happens in basketball. Not just to the Lakers and this coach. It happened when Phil was there. Lakers had a large lead and didn't hold the lead. They often had a horrible 3rd period. Then the game was won or lost in the 4th. There has always been talked about the Lakers swagger and not having a since of urgency. The coach has to rest players like Jordan even though he has a hot hand. Fatigue set in and the player is no go to the team if you don;t take them out. They make poor decisions, careless fouls and turnovers when tired. Other players have to learn to keep it going and play some defense and get some stops. somebody has to step up. It can't just be one or two players. It needs to be a team effort.

    Edit:

Lakers pulled it out! It was close. But if you are fatigue you will not be as effective defensively or offensively. It is along season. We don;t want what happened last year the older players logging too many minutes and wearing down before the playoffs.

Come on man, teams are going to go on runs in basketball. Its hard to consistently stop that from happening unless you are a team who gets consistent stops like the Heat or grizzlies. Maye Farmar should have played more in the 3rd quarter but the coach has to know who his guys are. Blake has done a fantastic job running the point for the team and they still won.

Mike D'Antoni has "very bad" reputation & just like A.Smith says, "The man doesn't care if he losses 28,22,17,15, & 10 points lead. He doesn't care & he will sleep very comfortable." But again you can't 100% blame the D'Antoni & Pau Gasol may scored 21 ppg,8 rebounds, & 1 block, but he's too lazy to guard & has hands like a women & today KG owned him.
