After turkey gobbling, what is your favorite use or recycling program for the bones?

Also do you do something special with the soft tissue waste?

You can try composting the bones and the soft tissue. Does your community or local recycling center participate in compost waste?

Pressure cook them for an hour or more. Then you can feed them to the dog, cat, or bird. They can be crumbled in your hands and fed to the plants too, if they are not greasy.

Source(s): We do it with all our chicken bones too and regularly feed them to the dogs.
