Nissan/Datsun truck problem?

My truck has developed a fault that the mechanics here are scratching their heads over.

Going uphill it will stutter and hiccup and sometimes completely cut out.

I've had the tank cleaned ,fuel pump and filters checked, but still the problem continues.

Does anyone have a similar problem?

    You have an ignition and/or a vacuum leak. Get a tune up first. Then look for broken vacuum hoses. Could be a bad distributor.
