Sex and the City Fans! I have a question about Sex and the City specially Charlotte's lady parts?
I was watching an episode of SATC i guess it was the 3 or 4th season i really dont know, but the girls were all at a table, and some how it came up that Charlotte has never seen her vagina. But in the first season a respectable artist invited her to his place just to paint her vagina like everything was showing, if you know what I mean. and the painting was humongous and it hung in an art gallery. So fast forward to season 3 or 4 why does she say she never say her vagina...?

Well, it's a comedy show, after all. And watching a prude twist the truth can be pretty amusing.
One of Charlotte's major character traits is that being "proper" is more important to her than almost anything (except her friends). Her version of "proper" is sometimes an exaggerated version of Victorian virginity, so she probably feels a truly virtuous woman denies knowing anything about her plumbing. Even if that means telling an obvious lie. Of course, it's not "proper" to call anyone out when you catch them telling a lie, so she probably feels safe saying it even in front of people who obviously know better.
