What should we do with the finch?
We found this finch on the ground conscious but a little injured. We took it inside and it can fly but not for a long time should we keep it or let it go?

KEEP the poor thing and place up ads lost bird if people call have them describe the bird then you know you have the rightful owners. If set it loose it will die for sure since it cant Escape a cat or car or people that may wish to harm it best to care for it the best you can till you either find the owner or decide to keep for your own sweet birdy they are great pets.

Hello there,
Keeping a wild bird is illegal but as s/he said you can take it to a vet and get him checked out. I think you can also look after it untill it heals and then release him

I would let the little fella go. However, if you have the extra cash, I would take him to a vet. The max cost would probably $50. Just ask them to see whats wrong with him.
