After moving your spouse to your home state with you, how long until she is considered a citizen?

She lives in Indiana and I in Texas, we're to be married in a few months and shes moving here with me right after were married. But she wants to go to college here as well if convenient (not having to pay out of state tuition). how long until shes considered a Texas citizen?

For things like voting, she will be considered a citizen right away. However, to qualify for in-state tuition rates, she will have to be a resident for a certain amount of time. Each school usually has its own rules but most require at least a year of in-state residency.

Aside from the ego of many Texans..

this is not a separate country. She will become a resident of Texas (countries have citizens). She will need to change her drivers license, etc. She lives here as soon as she lives here.

FOR COLLEGE purposes, they don't just let folks slide in that easy. Most colleges (not just here) will require her to be a resident for at least a year before getting in state tuition. She will have to check with the individual school for their specifics.

Each school has a policy. You'll have to talk to the admissions people, or check on their website.

Make sure to point out...she moved to TX to marry a native TX resident, intends it to be her permanent home, she changed her driver's license, registered to vote, has a lease, changed her car license plates, etcetera.
