I'm having trouble changing the administrator account password in windows 7?
Bought the computer used and did not reformat, but the old user's account is still set as the administrator account for the OS. I need to figure out a way, without installing any software (because I would need administrator privileges to do that), to either figure out/ change the old password or delete that account and make another account admin.
I've tried so far resetting the password and windows says cannot
deleting the account and windows says cannot
changing the password and windows says cannot
all through control panel user accounts
thanks!
