smart choice to pick up marc gasol now?
they said he'll be out 3-4 weeks and i know i should wait but the thing is i know that someone will pick him up and is better safe than sorry. the problem is do you think is worth it picking him up like 1-2 days and having him giving me near future points and wasting a waive claim?

I would submt the claim Marc is a badass. Does your league not prioritize your waiver requests? In my leagues there wouldnt be a risk of losing a waiver claim, but if so then can you list your other options?
Otherwise, nothing to lose, request Gasol no doubt

If you have someone on your bench that you will never play then yes go after Gasol. He can sit on your bench for the time he is out and then he will upgrade your lineup when he comes back.
