What is the actual procedure of updating AMD desktop gpu driver?

Hi, I got a machine with AMD gpu ( I wanted to make a complete amd rig) but every time I want to update the gpu driver, things get messed up... with nVidia, i just download the updated driver and click to install, it gets installed and restarts, update finished.

But with AMD, I downloaded the update which was 13.9, clicked to install, that got installed, and nothing happened. The driver remains as 13.4. I tried complete uninstall to re-install fresh but I had to sweep the driver too with the driver sweeper. Last time i checked that the complete uninstallation procedure damaged my .net too. I had to re install .net framework. That driver installation was showing me MOM.implementation, CLI.implementation error. Then also once it showed me no display driver was installed because no gpu was found? I was like...what the!!! then how am i seeing this cause I'm not using any APU.

Now my question is what is the ACTUAL PROCEDURE of updating AMD CCC? Do I have to follow sweeping, .net installation things again and again to update? Are AMD products that much shitty?

Update:

DeMoNsLaYeR575:

1. I am pretty much sure that i HAVE an AMD gpu installed

2. The gpu is running fine

3. It is seated correctly

addition: my mb is msi 990fxa-gd80 which has no additional video out but from the gpu, and i just had to re-install by clicking on the installer and next time it got detected by itself. forums said that this issue (no detection) often occurs due to not having the microsoft signature for x64 based systems, so the forcibly signature checking should be turned off by hitting f8 during boot or from settings. Aaaand I'm not a noob... Just wanna know if some other people also suffering from such random issues with AMD CCC and if there's any easy solution. :)

If it is not detecting any amd gpu then

    1. you dont have an amd gpu

    2. the gpu is dead

    3. the gpu is not seated correctly

if the card was installed correctly then it will update the same as nvida
