Is it hard to get a Japanese gilfriend?
Hi everyone. I had been back and forth from Japan and had tried looking for a Japanese girlfiriend, stayed for 2 weeks each for four times already and I even went from Sendai to Tokyo but even now, I still don't have one. Is it really hard to have a Japanese girlfriend? I am from the Philippines but with partly Chinese blood. I am almost giving up but I still want to try again. My preference are really Japanese girls. Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I'm going to be very blunt and honest here. I don't mean to dash your hopes or be racist, but i'm half japanese and from what i've observed from my mother's side, there are mostly 2 types of japanese girls:
1) Those who just stick to Japanese boys (that's who they're attracted to first and foremost, but also for the sake of cultural convenience too i guess), and
2) Girls (like my mother was lol) who go for your stereotypical 'European' guy (pale-ish, light hair and eyes) -and I have no idea why.
Then there would be a few japanese girls here and there who and there who would go for 'other guys'. So, to answer your question, if you look at whether it might be hard to get a Japanese girlfriend according to the way the female population's preferences typically lean, then sorry to break it to you-- yes, it is hard. But hey, looks are nowhere near everything-- you could have a killer personality. Also all girls are individual and there could very well be someone special in Japan waiting for you-- you never know. But why do you limit yourself to Japan? Why don't you try some other places similar to Japan, like Korea? Good Luck

umm, try to do different approach i guess. not sure exactly how. i have some japanese female friends and they all really nice, no wonder u want japanese girlfriend. ouh since you've been to japan for few times i bet u can speak some japanese, try approach them with japanese language, sometimes they like it when foreigners can speak their language. well good luck then ;)
