Solve for V? 10 points!?

V/3+1.2=-6.3

Solve for V.

I forgot how to do this, so if anybody knows and helps me out that'd be really great.

    V/3+1.2=-6.3

    subtract both sides by 1.2

    V/3=-7.5

    multiply both sides by 3

    V=-22.5

    v/3 + 1.2 = - 6.3 subtract 1.2

    v/3 = -6.3 - 1.2

    v/3 = - 7.5 Multiply by 3

    v = - 7.5 * 3

    v = -22.5

    Do you mean V/3 + 1.2 = -6.3, or V/(3 + 1.2) = -6.3?
