Should I switch my services over to AT&T U-verse?
I've currently got Dish Network with a dual DVR receiver , but we're wanting to put HD in the bedroom and I have to chose if I want to go with a Dish Hopper with a Joey or switch over to AT&T U-verse. I currently subscribe to AT&T DSL and their regular home phone.
AT&T is offering me a bundle deal that's going to run about $17 more a month than Dish, But I'll get a few more channels that I'd to have, and plus AT&T will give me a $250.00 visa card . Financially it makes sense to switch to AT&T for at least a couple of years for what you get.
My question is ....Is AT&T U-verse any good? It won't be worth the money saved if I continue to have crappy internet and TV. I'd appreciate any opinions you have.
Channels I'd like to have*
I've got until 8:00pm to make up my mind, because AT

I had AT&T Uverse for a few years, I enjoyed having a DVR with such a large amount of storage. The internet speed will be a huge increase over DSL as well. I think you will be pleased with Uverse, yes I thought it was worth the money.

I wasn't happy with U Verse until we got the wireless receivers. Before wireless, our reception was horrible, freezing and breaking up on a regular basis. My fault really because I didn't want to deal with a tech coming to the house. Wish I had done it sooner and saved the grief. The wireless made all the difference. No more problems. I am happy with it now, reception is pristine. There are lots of channels and plans, worth the money. PS: I switched from Dish to U Verse
