Christmas story ideas?

I was asked to write a Christmas story for a younger audience about the age of 4-5 years old. The story has to be simple yet interesting, with a good and an evil character. I'm all out of ideas, can anyone help? :)

How about, Santa becomes sick, and unable to make his Christmas rounds, and a awkward unknown elf is chosen to take over. The villains could be other elves who try and trick the awkward elf into doing something.

  • There needs to be a Yeti. A good Yeti, although maybe a Yeti that's good after having an epiphany. And the Aurora Borealis needs to be in there. And peanut butter fudge. At some point you need to have a Yeti eating peanut butter fudge with a girl named Imelda as they watch the Aurora Borealis. Because they saved Christmas from the CFO at Bank of America, who is evil. So evil, and stupid. And wants everyone to buy things they cannot afford so they lose them all and he can collect them. Because he believes the tears of children to be his fountain of youth. But the Yeti and Imelda stop that. With the help of Imelda's dad's 1972 Olds 442 and her slingshot named "Davey."
