Calculating flux HELP?

V= i -j +3k

a square plate of area 4 in the xy plane orientated in the positive x direction

I think I'm over-thinking this problem, can anyone please help me! Thank you so much! :)

    I assume that the plane of the triangle lies in the x,y plane. What you mean by "oriented in the x-direction" is not clear, so I shall ignore that pending some further clarification from you!. The z-component of the field V is the only one which enters and leaves the triangle. Its coefficient is 3 (the coefficient associated with k, the unit vector in the z-direction) uniformly over the area of the triangle. So, since the area of the triangle is 4 the flux of V through the triangle = 4x3 = 12 if that's what you're looking for - your actual question is not abundantly clearly formulated..
