    pro-the skiing is good

    pro-it's an old-school castle town with many traditional craftsmen

    con-it's an oven in the summer

    It's all good really, if you want some city life it's quick enough to get to Sendai from Yamagata City.

    Pro : low crime rate. Slower life style.
