Why can't I crouch in the 3DS version of Metroid?
I just downloaded the virtual console version of Metroid for my 3DS and I find that there is no crouch button. I can only walk, jump, and shoot. Is there something I'm missing, because I know that you definitely need to be able to crouch in Metroid. I've pushed all of the buttons on the 3DS and none of them allow me to crouch.

Try exploring a little.
You'll find something that'll fix your problem within 2 minutes of playing the game if you actually look around the starting area a bit more.

Did you go straight to the right and find a part that you can't walk through? You have to go left and there is something that allows you to turn into a sphere and get through.
