Okay this guy who I know - not that well got my number off a friend and has been texting me constantly since 4 days ago
If I don't reply within 5 minutes he texts, ' why aren't you replying to me???!!!' or 'am I annoying you?'
Of course he's annoying me but I don't want to be rude
According to several people he has a crush on me but I don't feel the same way
What do I do? I don't want to be mean!

Use the excuse "g2g" whenever you want to end a conversation. It works. Just tell him that you have to go do something, etc. Then don't text him back until he texts you again at another time. By then, just talk chat with him a few minutes and use another excuse again. Over time, he'll get bored of you keep being busy and he'll leave you alone. That way, you don't have to be mean to him or ignore him.

Try to get to know him better. You may even have a crush on him eventually. If this doesn't work or you don't want to, simply tell him how you feel. You kind words like I'm sorry, or I'm simply not interested. Don't give him the silent treatment though. That will make things worse for you and make him feel bad.

Tell him how you feel. If he doesn't leave you alone, well, you know..sometimes being mean is the only way. Good luck! :)
