Poll: how much do you send on average on one bra?

My cousin is a 38 DD I think. She spends about 30-40 on one bra. I am a 36 B but I have been told I'm wearing the wrong bra size that I should be wearing a 34-36 C or even a D. I went to Walmart to buy a non push up 34C bra but they did have the non push up 34C bras for $6. I think it is outrageous to spend more then 15 on one bra.

1. How much you spend on one bra?

2. What is the average cost of a C size bra (not Victoria secret)?

3. Am I being cheap?

Thanks no meanies.

  • Go to TJ MAX and check for your size. Check for well known name brands. Just because they are much less, doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with it. Never buy without trying each one on first. You want one that fits. Dillard's has someone that comes in at special times to just fit women into the correct size. One time and you will have the rules to follow for any future purchase. Cheaper brands are just that. They begin to show their problems early on. One last thing, don't think you can wear a bra for a week or more without washing. The filthy straps showing tells the story. There are laundry bags you can buy at Walmart with zippers. I like the small weave of the Tide brand. Fold your bras in half and place in the bag to wash. Never let them go through the dryer, as it will cause the elastic to wear out fast. Hang them up to dry. They dry fast. The bras all fit differently according to the many different brands. The inches are for you to not bulge over in the back, or feel like its crushing you. The cup size is to make sure you fit it all in, without spilling out on the sides, or smashed together. The wires help to shape you. I hope this helps. There are times of the year when the bras go on sale. Buy 2 and get 1 free is a sale from the company it's self. That helps if you are spending $30 or more per bra. T J Max drops even their price if the item is held to long in their store. I pay about $10 for the regular $30 bras. The nude color is a good color that doesn't jump out under a thinner shirt. Black limits what you can wear over it such as light colors.

Canada is a little more pricy to start off with but I would never buy a cheap bra.

    1. $30 CAN guessing ($25 US) would be the cheapest i'd buy. typically $40 or so. but have spent more.

    2. Average price? not average would be more than $20 thats for sure.

    3. Cheap? in a word yes. thats ok though, you can be frugal, it's your clothing/body.

you can buy affordable bra's nude/skin tone one's if thats your thing. Most girls want to feel sexy. it's empowering and fun. But also, a good bra will last longer, or is made with special materials that either breath, wear down slowly, are sheer but strong, silk, laser cut, lace, and then there are types of bras. each serving their own purpose. to hide under a tight top, low cut...etc.

Ask your girl friends what their favourite bra is. ask them why, and ask how much its worth.

you'll quickly find out that the walmart special, is no one's favourite, and that most girls want something nice.

as you grow up you'll come in to your own and appreciate them more.
