I have a nordyen intertherm ac-heat unit, the prob is the fan will not work on heat but will work on all other?
I replaced the seqs, fan relay and all the heater elements, but this fan prob was present before all that and is still present. I tried another known good t-stat, no go. If the fan works on AC then why not on heat, the fan relay wire is the same for both AC and heat, so why one and not the other? Am I missing something here?

The fan works so that is good. Either you are not getting power and/or ground (neutral) when it is on heat. Check the selector/controller to select heat or AC. I am thinking that is where the problem lies. I would check for power or neutral continuities on the controller at rest (off), heat setting and AC setting. A good wiring diagram for the unit will be very helpful

Hello; it would be important to have the model number. having said that there is a separate auxiliary limit safety switch for the blower. Here is what they say: 17
Auxiliary Limit
This furnace is equipped with an auxiliary manual
reset limit. This limit is designed to function
("trip") in the event of a blower motor failure. If
the limit trips, reset the limit by firmly pressing
the red button in the center of the limit. The limit
is located on the left hand side of the blower
assembly. If the limit will not reset, continues to
trip, or the blower does not function, notify your
NORDYNE Distributor or Service PRO
immediately
If it does not reset, try and jump it to see if the blower runs. Try and turn the fan limit switch manually to see if it clicks on the fan. Its the round dial with numbers on it.
The fan does not turn on in heat thru the fan relay. It goes thru the limit switches. Which can be built into one device.
